Couch Potatoes
A few days ago I went for a short run/walk with my Aussie mix. It was right around a mile and a half, and there was no part of it where I tried running for more than a quarter mile at a time.
That dog is even more out of shape than me! I was literally pulling him behind me every time I would run more than 100 feet. A one year old dog of his type should not have this problem!
So it looks like me and my couch potato dog are going to take up jogging, because clearly we can both use it. Today we’re going to do it again, but farther and with more running in it. Get excited!

When my brother said he wanted some hotdogs because he was hungry, I told him we could do better. He was really excited! I love that a 9 year old can be excited about eating healthy! We had flaxseed wraps with a healthy version of refried beans, Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, lettuce, salsa, corn, onions, a sprinkle of cheese, ans mine had extra tomatoes, but he isn’t a fan. Anyway, it was delicious and we were both super full.

I’m usually not avenge fan of iceberg lettuce, but like this I am crazy about it! A wedge of lettuce, chopped Roma tomatoes, chives from my garden, and some dressing I made from Greek yogurt. Mmmm…

This is my huge bag of veggies that I am munching on. This was the only food I brought with my from our mother’s day dinner left overs. Celery, cauliflower, peppers,asparagus, and carrots.
Tomorrow morning I get to move out of the dorms for good. Woo!

Statistics Exam Tomorrow
I haven’t paid attention in that class in well over a month and I haven’t even been there in over a week.

*wants to vomit from test anxiety*

Well, this is just what I get for being a lazy ass. Looks like the next 9 hours are going to be all about statistics.

This is my delicious lunch that I ate in the delicious sunshine. And yes, there is a lot of bacon on that salad. No, I do not care. It was great. Just like the weather.

Bikini!
I just bought my first ever bikini from Victoria’s Secret! (first from VS, not my first bikini) I am absolutely in love with it! It is mint colored and has a crocheted look to it. I feel amazing in it now, but I can’t imagine how great it will look once I lose a little more fat! I am so excited! This definitely renewed my motivation.

I don’t really want to go work out, but it would be a good thing to do. I did 100 body weight squats yesterday, so I imagine that I will start feeling those pretty soon. Usually I use the elliptical, but I am going to run tonight. I’ll post back about how it goes!

Breakfast. Salad with red wine vinegar, carrots, tomatoes, and some watermelon.
Stress has gone beyond the realm of “feed me everything” and now I hardly have any appetite. Happy medium, please?

Success!
I was getting really stressed out, so I decided to go unwind with some exercise. 45 minutes of cardio on the elliptical made me feel better about the week ahead and my body! Success! I can take on the world.

So Busy :(
I’ve gained a few pounds back. I mean, I know I’m not eating THAT great but I didn’t think it was enough to have me gaining weight. And judging by how my body looks, it isn’t just me gaining muscles. I’m still holding out hope that a lot of it is water weight, so I’m eating really clean this week.
I am so freaking busy right now with school, it’s insane. I just made a list of things I need to do in the next 10 days. THERE ARE 11 VERY LARGE ITEMS ON IT. This is scary, but this week is looking not too bad, so I’m going to try to get ahead so it will be more spread out. I am so impatient for the end of the semester.
Because of how much I have to do and how stressed I am about it, I have the feeling that the next few weeks are not going to be very kind to my body. I will likely either eat all things carb/cheesy/greasy or else have a total loss of appetite and not eat enough. And I can totally forget about having cardio every day. But the weather is getting nice, so I can probably spend more time walking around on campus without freezing or getting rained on. See? Not all is lost!
I’m trying to stay positive because the end is in sight and I feel like I saw this difficult time coming before it hit me and I fell behind. Thank you guys SO MUCH for the support. Every reblog or follow or like makes me stay motivated and accountable. Thank you thank you thank you!
Stay strong everyone, I know I will do my best to be the best that I can be.

Push Ups!
I am getting SOOO much better at push ups! That being said, I can still only do about 10 at a time and I’m all wobbly/out of breath afterward, but I feel like being able to do several sets of 10 push ups every day is a big deal!
And they aren’t the girly ones (no offense to anyone who does those!). That makes me way proud. Can’t wait to get to a point where I can do sets of 20 with no break!

I planned ahead tonight! When I got the midnight munchies, I grabbed some broccoli out of my fridge and steamed it. Little bit of salt and pepper. Yummy.
